Blacon Adventure Playground reopening update: April 2021

We’re pleased to announce that Blacon Adventure Playground will reopen to local visitors from Monday 12 April.
The health and wellbeing of our residents, their families and our staff remains our top priority and additional measures will be in place to ensure the playground is a safe place to visit.
We will be strictly limiting the number of people on site and only children aged 8-16 will be allowed to access the playground, adults are not permitted at this point. All visitors must provide a name and contact number for track and trace purposes, and we also ask that you continue to follow Government regulations on social distancing and mixing of households.
Other safety measures in place include:
- Enhanced cleaning and disinfection of play equipment, toilets and touch points
- Staff greeting visitors on arrival to check for Covid-19 symptoms and share hand washing and social distancing guidance
- Separate entrance and exit points and social distancing markers and hand sanitisation stations around the site
- No food and drink to be brought on site
We kindly ask visitors to ensure they read this information thoroughly before visiting the playground and to follow all guidance from members of our team.
Opening hours at Blacon Adventure Playground (from 12 April) are:
- Monday to Friday: 3-7pm
- Weekends: 10.30am-1pm and 2-6pm
- School holidays: 11am-1pm and 2-6pm
Please note that only the playground area of the site is reopening at present and the City Farm will remain closed until further notice.
