The Parade Enterprise Centre brings together a range of services under one roof at the heart of Blacon.
Based on the Parade shops, the high quality, contemporary building houses the library, community centre, offices and various businesses.
There are a number of different sized rooms available which can be combined to give greater capacity.
The three main rooms available to hire are:
- Community Hall (capacity of 200 people)
- Community Room (capacity of 53 people)
- Conference Room (capacity of 22 people)
There is a kitchen available with the Community Hall and all rooms have access to projectors and screens. Contact us to check availability and make a booking.
The Parade Enterprise Centre was part of a wider Blacon regeneration project between Sanctuary Group, Cheshire West and Chester Council (CWaC), and NHS Western Cheshire. The original scheme involved an investment of approximately £19.5 million including new housing and regenerating the existing parade of shops as well as building the Parade Enterprise Centre.
Next door to the Parade Enterprise Centre is a piece of land earmarked for a new health facility and apartments. The land is owned by Cheshire West and Chester Council who recently approved plans for the new development. Talks continue between local health services, Cheshire West and Chester Council and Sanctuary Group about how to take the project forward. In the meantime, the Council has fenced the land and made it secure. More information about the project can be found here.
