Community Support fund applications now open

We’re currently inviting applications to our Community Support fund, which aims to support initiatives and activities that will have a lasting impact for Blacon and the people who live here.

Grants of up to £5,000 are available and individuals, community and resident groups, schools, registered charities, social enterprises and local businesses are all invited to apply.

Projects must benefit Blacon and should fit one or more of our priorities for the fund:

  • Building connections and reducing isolation
  • Helping residents better manage their money
  • Increasing skills and employability
  • Growing neighbourhood pride and community safety
  • Sustainable lifestyles and greener living

Further details and application forms are available here. Applications must be submitted by 31 January 2024 and we’ll aim to contact applicants by March to let them know if their bid has been successful.

While we’ll aim to support as many projects as possible, we do have limited funds available and may not be able to fully fund all projects if demand is high.
