Join us this summer for Blacon’s biggest community celebration.

The Blacon Festival, which is organised by local social enterprise Avenue Services, will be taking place at Queen Elizabeth Fields on Blacon Avenue from 1-5pm on Saturday 6 July.

This year will mark the festival’s 27th year and it is widely recognised as Chester’s largest community-led festival, attracting thousands of visitors each year. This year’s theme is musical festivals, so everybody can rock out and enjoy the summer fun.

The festival will officially open at 1pm, kicking off a fantastic day full of fun and entertainment for all ages including stalls, music, games, dancing and much more.

Paul Knight, Head of Avenue Services, said: “The Blacon Festival is such an important event for our community and we look forward to it every year. Preparations are well underway and it’s looking set to be another successful event.”
