We’re excited to reveal more details of the lineup for our Country and Western themed 2026 Blacon Festival.

This year marks the 29th edition of the community festival, which is again taking place at Queen Elizabeth Fields on Blacon Avenue on Saturday 4 July from 1pm-5pm.

Country music influenced performers such as Jader Fialho (pictured), local rock band CSR, and singers Evelyn and Ava will be performing throughout the afternoon.

Residents looking to try their hand at the cowboy lifestyle can try and tame the rodeo bull, while fair rides, bouncy castles, tombola stalls and other games will be on offer too.

The event will also have a bar, along with food stalls offering burgers, pizzas, sweets, cakes, coffee and much more.

The event is widely recognised as Chester’s largest community-led festival, attracting thousands of visitors each year.

Paul Knight, Head of Avenue Services, said: “We’re really excited for another fantastic Blacon Festival. We’ve put together a great line up of performers and activities – so there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

“I look forward to welcoming people of all ages to enjoy this much-loved community celebration right here in Blacon in just a couple of weeks.”
