This year’s Blacon Festival was another huge success, with over 3,000 people joining us at Queen Elizabeth Fields on Saturday 4 July.

This year’s festival had a Country and Western theme, with musicians including Jader Fialho, local rock band CSR, and singers Evelyn and Ava providing entertainment throughout the afternoon.

There were also 50 stalls from local businesses, community groups, and charities from across Blacon and beyond.

Paul Knight, Head of Avenue Services, said: “We had yet another amazing Blacon Festival and I hope everyone enjoyed themselves.

“I’d like to say a huge thank you to all the attendees, stallholders, performers and organisers. Without them, Blacon Festival wouldn’t be possible. I’m already looking forward to our 30th anniversary in 2027!”
